Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Applications Analyst with deep experience in Oracle Cerner to support, enhance, and optimize our clinical applications. This role will focus heavily on system build, configuration, workflows, troubleshooting, and ongoing support of clinical solutions used across our healthcare organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Cerner functionality, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaboratively support clinical and operational partners.

 

This role is NOT remote. 100% onsite requirement

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced Cerner build and configuration across clinical domains, including:
- Orders & Order Sets
- Clinical Documentation

- iView / Interactive View
- PowerForms, PowerPlans, and other Cerner components
• Analyze and translate clinical and operational requirements into effective system solutions.
• Provide Tier II/III support for Cerner applications and workflows.
• Lead or participate in system upgrades, testing, validation, and change management activities.
• Collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders, Informatics teams, and IT leadership to align solutions with organizational needs.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to build, workflows, and enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and standardization across clinical applications.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support, as needed.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED:


1. B.S. Degree in Nursing, Business, Systems, or related field or Five (5) years healthcare financial or clinical experience 

2. Two (2) years healthcare financial, clinical systems, or training experience (with B.S. Degree) 3. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

 

3. Demonstrated, hands-on experience building and supporting Oracle Cerner solutions or equivalent recent experience.

4. Demonstrated proficiency in:
- Orders and clinical ordering workflows
- Nursing and provider documentation
- iView configuration
- Clinical workflows and troubleshooting

5. Strong understanding of clinical operations and healthcare processes.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Excellent communication, analytical, and customer service skills.

 

PREFERRED:

 

1. Experience with:
- CCL (Cerner Command Language)
- Discern rules, Bedrock configuration, and advanced build tools
- PowerPlans, MPages, and/or custom integrations
- Prior experience in a senior or lead analyst role.
