Responsibilities

Responsible for undertaking some of the day-to-day operation within Treasury. Provides management and operational analysis, reports and recommendations to support the developing Treasury operations. Interacts with financial management and is a liaison for multiple departments within the organization. Work will become independent, with review for overall accuracy and soundness of judgement.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Automate manual processes, identify and implement efficiencies in the Treasury Department.
  2. Document policies and procedures as they change including data sources, analysis methods and protocols.
  3. Manage the process of transporting money from various NSH locations to the bank.
  4. Manage petty cash and gift card distribution.
  5. Process expense reports in Concur.
  6. Assist with opening, maintaining and closing bank accounts, as well as maintaining internal data related to bank accounts.
  7. Assist with changes in Treasury services.
  8. Assist with daily operational activities as needed, including running reports, initiating wire and ACH transfers.
  9. Assist with fraud prevention measures.
  10. Assist with managing merchant service relationships.
  11. Analyze bank fee/account analysis statements for accuracy.
  12. Collaborate and communicate with other departments to resolve issues, understand implication of changes, and build relationships.
  13. Ad hoc projects or responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

  1. Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other Business field; or previous experience in Northside Hospital Accounting and a Bachelor degree.
  2. Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Data Management skills.
  3. Being able to interpret, explain and recommend Process driven, organized, produces results within defined deadlines.
  4. Ability to handle pressure and demands of competing priorities.
  5. Interpersonal, collaboration and relationship building skills.
  6. Ability to handle confidential information, comply with laws and regulations, company’s ethics and code of conduct, and other company policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

  1. Master’s degree.
  2. CTP or progress towards/interest in CTP preferred.
