The Manager of Cyber Security is responsible for leading Cyber Security Operations and the Security Operations Center (SOC), which focuses on detecting, disrupting, and eradicating threat actors from enterprise networks. The role will serve as a primary leader responsible for overseeing daily operations, directing threat intelligence activities, and applying advanced analytical and technical expertise to investigate network intrusions, detect malicious activity, and identify potential insider threats. In addition, this position will lead incident response efforts and deliver comprehensive reports detailing such events. This role oversees the Cybersecurity Operations team, with responsibilities spanning vulnerability management, security awareness and training, cloud security, insider threat monitoring, and overall network security.
This role requires designing, implementing, optimizing, and administering enterprise-class cybersecurity solutions to safeguard Northside's data, systems, networks, and associates, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (such as HIPAA), organizational policies, and departmental procedures. The incumbent will also undertake additional duties and projects as assigned, ensuring that all responsibilities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines.
1. B.S. Degree in Business, IT Security, Information Systems or related field.
2. Five (5) years prior IT Security experience.
3. Three (3) years prior healthcare experience.
4. Three (3) years of management experience.
5. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
6. Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
