Responsibilities

  • Lead our established Trauma group, currently consisting of five physicians and eleven APPs, at Northside’s only Level II Trauma Center
  • Preferred demonstrated experience with building and managing trauma program, specifically related to an Acute Care Surgery model
  • Join large team operating in high acuity environment with State-of-the-art facilities

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • BC/BE in General Surgery and/or Surgical Critical Care
  • Fellowship training or extensive experience in Trauma Surgery
  • Valid state of Georgia medical license and DEA registration
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the management of traumatic injuries and complex surgical cases
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care with compassion and empathy
  • Willingness to participate in on-call coverage and respond to trauma activations as needed
