General:
1. Evaluates daily activities and makes operational changes as necessary to improve service
levels.
2. Oversees hiring, training, and supervision of employees in areas of responsibility.
3. Educates and assists employees in responding to customer’s questions and complaints,
and intervenes if necessary to handle difficult customers. Also handles administrative
complaints.
4. Schedules staff and coordinates work activities among the clerical areas to ensure smooth
workflow and maintain customer service levels.
5. Works closely with respective departments and leaders (both inter and intradepartmental)
to resolve problems. Identifies trends in customer complaints and provides feedback
regarding service issues and customer complaints.
6. Ensures training of employees and back-up staff to ensure maximum service
effectiveness.
7. Attends meetings to represent the department as required by the Director.
8. Assists Director with determining recommendations and improvements for customer
service
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Demonstrated computer skills.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Ability to function independently.
5. Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a logical manner.
6. Demonstrated problem solving skills.
7. Strong understanding of intra-department relationships
8. Ability to work independently, and direct and train personnel.
9. Current BLS CPR certification.
