Assists in assuring the proper measure selection, collection, analysis, and reporting of valid and reliable data for QI Physician Contract metrics, and physician externally reported metric selection, abstraction, and reporting. Responsible for the evaluation of existing and potential data sources to support quality clinical data and to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the data collection, analysis, and display/reporting process.
REQUIRED:
1. Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
2. Minimum three years demonstrated experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
3. Excellent communication skills; demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
4. Strong analytical and organization skills.
5. Ability to work independently, coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and meet required deadlines.
6. Presentation and group leadership skills required.
7. Expertise in word processing, spreadsheet and power point software and development of presentations required.
8. High degree of personal initiative.
9. Ability to perform basic data and workflow analysis.
PREFERRED:
1. Bachelor's degree in nursing
2. Certification in CMQ, CPHQ, or other quality improvement methodology.
3. Previous experience in a Physician Office Setting.
4. Previous data abstraction experience.
5. Previous experience in quality or process improvement role.
