Responsibilities

The Manager has primary responsibility for overseeing the daily operations of the Behavioral Health Services Department that are based at each hospital location (5 hospital system). Required to frequently apply a set of management principles to a specialized discipline. Must be capable of independent judgment and decision making in the areas of budget, personnel, patient services and administrative and professional programs. Has twenty four (24) hour accountability for assigned area. Serves adult population. Responsible for supporting departmental financial and operational initiatives. Collaborates with department leadership regarding aspects of department operations.

Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree in psychology, social work or other mental health related field.

2. Five (5) years post masters leadership experience in addictions and/or behavioral health programs or activities.
3. Licensed as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, RN or Psychologist
4. Good written and oral communication skills.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state regulatory standards.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting and staffing methods and procedures.
7. Demonstrated experience facilitating process improvement initiatives
8. Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems and computer spreadsheet programs.
