About this Practice:

North Point Pulmonary Associates was founded in 1996 to serve the residents of North Fulton County and the surrounding areas. For over 20 years, our practice has provided excellence in pulmonary and sleep medicine to our community while delivering compassion and care to our patients and their loved ones. At North Point Pulmonary Associates we are committed to providing quality individualized care for treating the lungs and respiratory (or breathing) system. We offer tests and diagnostics for patients with various pulmonary conditions in a caring and compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.  Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting.  Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.  Specific duties and responsibilities assigned to the individual will be determined by the supervising physician(s), clinical staff and Practice Coordinator after competency is established.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED

 

  1. High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.
  2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

 

PREFERRED

 

  1. Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant program or Graduate of a U.S. Military medic course.
  2. One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
  3. Other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
  4. Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

8:00am to 4:30pm
