Practice Details 

 

University Gynecologic Oncology (UGO) is one of the world leaders in oncology care for women with cancer of the female reproductive tract. Dr. Guilherme CantuariaDr. Oi-Wah Stephanie Yap and Dr. Meaghan Tenney specialize in cutting-edge treatment, research and rehabilitation for women with gynecologic cancers.

 

All of our gynecologist oncologists are part of the Northside Hospital Cancer Institute (NHCI) Gynecologic Cancer Program, a leading provider of gynecologic (GYN) cancer care that treats more cases of cervical cancer than any other community hospital in Georgia. This partnership allows you, the patient, to benefit from the combined expertise of Georgia’s largest network of cancer specialists and gain access to groundbreaking clinical trials.

Responsibilities

Manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the appropriate division. Nurses at Northside are professionals committed to patients/families and all members of the Healthcare team. Our nursing practice reflects the values of collaboration, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

  1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  2. Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  3. Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

  1. BSN degree
  2. Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
  3. Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
