OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Works collaboratively within the system critical care service line to ensure quality patient outcomes. In collaboration with other members of the critical care team, the clinical coordinator leads, monitors, and evaluates patient care in accordance with established policies/procedures. Plans, develops, coordinates, educational programs to enhance, promote, and maintain high standards in staff professional growth and quality patient care. Responsibilities involve development and implementation of best practice based on research and recognized practice standards and recommendations.  Supporting activities include but are not limited to the identification of issues and the design, development, and implementation of effective solutions and innovative technologies within the clinical, educational, and research domains of practice. 

REQUIRED

1. B.S. degree in nursing or allied health field.
2. Five (5) years of experience in nursing
3. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Critical Care
4. Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
5. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.      

PREFERRED

1. Master's Degree or currently enrolled
2. Leadership or Education experience
3. Experience in Quality Improvement
4. Project Management Skills
5. CCRN Certification
