To prepare patients for and conduct standard electromyographic tests which measure muscle response and nerve conduction; collect information pertinent to the interpretation of the test; and to assist in the maintenance of equipment. 

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

PREFERRED:

1. Associate’s degree in health science or an equivalent combination of education and experience in the health field
2. One (1) year of experience as a EMG-EEG Technologist.
3. Certification by the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET); or eligibility for certification; or valid Nerve Conduction Technology Certification (CNCT).
4. Technologists Membership, American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) Registry within 6 months of employment
