The System Operations Coordinator for Financial Systems Integration is responsible for day to day oversight of systems within the Finance Division (Accounting/Decision Support). This position will focus on selection, implementation, and support of all applications directly supporting operations of the Accounting and Decision Support Departments. The position also acts as the primary subject matter expert for Accounting and Decision Support systems.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and manages resources associated with systems functions on the Financial Systems Integration team.
- Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all hospital financial applications.
- Responsible for oversight and/or direct project management of new system implementation or upgrades including coordinating design, build, testing, implementation, training, support, and overall system management of all Finance Division applications.
- Coordinates and assists Finance Division users in day to day desktop or application support acting as a liaison between Information Systems and/or Vendors.
- Responsible for overall health and oversight of Finance Division servers and infrastructure in an “always on” environment.
- Responsible for coordination of time-sensitive application data updates including Trendstar updates.
- Assists the Manager of Financial Systems Integration in the development and improvement of the systems found in the Finance Division (Accounting/Decision Support) including recommendations for new applications and application upgrades.
- Assists the Manager of Financial Systems Integration in the strategy for Finance Division servers and server environment.
- Act as a liaison between the Finance Division and other hospital departments on system or financial application related matters.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to Financial Systems Integration team on data integration and balancing.
- Identify opportunities and recommendations for process improvement within the Finance Division.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Finance Division applications and underlying data. This includes an in depth knowledge of how the applications are set up, how users operationally use the systems, and interfacing with other individuals inside and outside FSI on knowledge transfer.
- Assist with special systems and analytics projects for the Finance Division and assist in other responsibilities of the FSI Team.
