Cardiac Sonographer (Travel between Canton and Ellijay Offices)

Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on the adult and geriatric patient population.  Responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound in accordance with IAC.

REQUIRED

1. An appropriate credential in echocardiography:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS), Sonography Canada
• Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

                 2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

**This position will be split between Ellijay and Canton. The schedule is subject to change, but may start with 2 days a week at each location and then go to 3 days/week at Ellijay if depending on the volumes.**
