Requires competency in stereotactic biopsy and/or ability to competently perform QC related to mammography. Additionally, this position is characterized by the ability to perform all types of mammography studies to include needle localization and ductograms. Works in areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
1. Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
2. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
3. Certified in Mammography (or will be within 1 year of hire) meeting
requirements to perform mammography as defined in the ACR/FDA/MQSA
standards
