Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)- Inpatient Neurohospitalist (M-F)

Performs history and physical examinations and carries out appropriate intervention/procedures as determined by the plan of care.  Coordinates care of assigned patients according to Northside Hospital established Standards of Care.

Required

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current Georgia NP or PA license and National board certification
• BLS Certification
• Ability to obtain Northside Hospital credentialing and privileges

Preferred

• One or more years of inpatient neurology (preferred), hospital medicine, critical care, emergency medicine, or acute care experience
• Stroke or neuroscience experience
• Experience caring for medically complex hospitalized patients

1. Master’s Degree in Nursing
2. Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position. 

PREFERRED: 

1. One (1) year experience.

-We are seeking Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant for Neurohospitalist coverage
Inpatient only Neurology experienced is preferred however open to any driven and motivated APPs interested in seeking a Neurohospitalist APP position who meet certification qualifications - Certification: ACNP, AG-ACNP, PA-C
Candidates open to the following shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm - may include holidays and some weekend coverage
