The Monitor Technician is responsible for the ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors/remote telemetry and provides RNs and/or clinicians with immediate notification of any changes in cardiac rhythms. 

REQUIRED

1. High school diploma, equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education.
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification

PREFERRED

1. Knowledge of basic cardiac anatomy/physiology and medical terminology.
2. Previous health care experience.
