Performs various tasks and duties to provide technical assistance and support to medical/surgical staff and personnel during surgical procedures.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

1. High School diploma or equivalent. 
2. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

1. Certification in Surgical Technology.
2. Surgical Technologist with two (2) or more years of experience, with six months at Northside.
3. Visual color acuity screening depending on role in specific units
