Supervises and leads department functions, including serving and delivering meals, menu planning, food preparation, sanitation, and appropriate record keeping.

REQUIRED

1. Three (3) years of experience in a Hospital, major Food Service establishment, catering service or in storeroom/purchasing OR 1 year of leadership experience in healthcare food service.

PREFERRED

1. Certification by Dietary Manager's Association
2. Previous experience in health care.
3. One (1) year of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, major food service establishment or catering service.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of common diet modifications
5. Demonstrated knowledge of cafeteria operations
6. Ability to maintain proper cash-handling procedures.
7. Ability to supervise and direct food service operations and personnel.
8. Working knowledge of personal computer applications.
