Supervises and manages staff providing application, network, server, and microcomputer support for the Business Office Department. Ensures all Applications, Network Systems and Microsystems support issues are handled professionally, in a timely manner, and with outstanding levels of customer service. Works closely with Business Office leaders, IT management and other hospital department management to ensure that all system requirements are identified and supported. Coordinates new technology implementations and enhancement projects to support organizational and department initiatives.
REQUIRED
1. Three (3) years experience in a Hospital IS environment OR 5 years experience in a non-hospital related IS environment.
2. Must possess excellent analytical skills
3. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Network procedures, hardware, software, and security
4. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both written & orally
5. Demonstrate project management and issue resolution skills
PREFERRED
1. B.S. degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or other related field
2. Technical certifications, such as A+, Network +, LAN/WAN, Help Desk, etc.
3. Six (6) years experience in a healthcare of Hospital IS environment
4. Three (3) years prior leadership and supervisory experience
5. Excellent supervisory and project coordination skills
6. Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
7. Excellent communications and customer service skills
8. Excellent project management skills
9. Expert knowledge of standard operating systems and desktop applications such as Microsoft Windows and Office
10. Thorough knowledge of standard IS technologies such as network protocols, network security, local and wide area networks, MS Active Directory, and wireless networks
