Responsibilities

Directs and coordinates the daily activities of assigned department including budget, personnel, patient care, and regulatory compliance. Acts as a liaison between their assigned department and the referring physician's offices. May work with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. In Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine supervisor serves adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION
REQUIRED:
1. Must be a graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine technology program, OR an accredited Ultrasonography program, OR an accredited Radiologic technology program, OR an accredited MRI technology program.
2. Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board; OR Registration
as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiology
Technologists (ARRT), OR Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic
Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); OR Registration as an MRI Technologist by ARRT
or AMRIT; or Registration as a CT Technologist by ARRT.
3. Three (3) or more years of clinical experience.
4. Must hold Certification in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support
(BLS).

 

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION
PREFERRED
1. One (1) year of supervisory experience.
