Responsibilities

Oversees the clinical practice and patient care delivery, as well as 24-hour accountability, authority, and responsibility of the operations of assigned units. Duties include management of human, fiscal and material resources and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and regulations.  Areas of responsibility include all invasive cardiac services including, but not limited to, cardiac cath, EP, and Admission/Recovery. Provides care to an adult and geriatric patient population and is expected to take STEMI call with the call team on a regular basis.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

 

  1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  2. Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nursing Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate License
  3. Four (4) years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Critical Care, Emergency Services or Electrophysiology.
  4. One year of leadership experience in Nursing
  5. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  6. Must hold American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  7. Completion of exam on identification of arrhythmias with a passing score

 

PREFERRED

 

  1. Prior experience with general vascular, coronary angiography, and electrophysiology.
  2. Bachelors of science in Nursing
