Supervises the daily activities of the Security Officers on each assigned shift. Required to interface with visitors, staff, physicians, patients and family members.
REQUIRED:
1. One (1) year supervisory experience with Hospital Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation, or proven leadership ability in a Security position. Two (2) years college may be substituted for experience.
2. Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.
3. Must possess excellent public relation/customer service skills, and be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
4. Must either possess International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) Supervisory Certification or successfully complete the IAHSS Supervisory Certification course within three months of employment.
5. Must successfully complete BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, offered by the organization, upon hire.
6.Current/Valid Driver’s License (new GA residents must obtain valid GA Driver’s License within 90 days of hire)
