Coordinates daily activities of scheduling staff. Monitors work of assigned staff and acts as a professional resource. Acts as a professional liaison for staff, other hospitals, personnel, and physician offices.
Two (2) years clerical experience, with 6 month of supervisory experience, or 3 years of clerical clinical experience.
PREFERRED
1. Previous experience in admission or scheduling environment in a hospital/medical
office environment.
2. Previous supervisory experience.
3. Ability to type forty (40) words per minute.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
5. Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
6. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the utilization of computer applications.
7. Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills.
