Overview

Assists the Applications Coordinator or Manager in the coordination of activities and resources for all hospital or clinic physician requests and needs. This team is a liaison between our physicians and their extenders with IS.

 

This role is NOT remote. 100% onsite requirement Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1.     Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all hospital financial or clinical applications.

2.     Assists in the coordination of design, development, build, testing, implementation, training, upgrades, support, and overall system management of all hospital financial or clinical applications.

3.     Acts as a Project Manager for the implementation of new Systems.

4.     Maintain an issues work list and conduct regular and thorough follow-up with interested parties.

5.     Provide primary support and maintenance for core financial or clinical systems as determined by the Applications Coordinator or Manager.

6.     Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.  Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the Director.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:
1. B.S. Degree in Nursing, Business, Systems, or related field or Five (5) years healthcare financial or clinical experience

2. Two (2) years healthcare financial, clinical systems, or training experience (with B.S. Degree)

3. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

 

 


PREFERRED:
1. Five (5) plus years healthcare financial or clinical systems experience (with B.S. Degree)

2. Experience in Project Management

3. Knowledge of Cerner applications
