Responsibilities

Position Summary

Northside Hospital is seeking experienced and dedicated Critical Care Physicians to provide PRN coverage across our system-wide Intensive Care Units. Physicians in this role will deliver high-acuity, evidence-based care to critically ill medical, surgical, and cardiopulmonary patients while collaborating with multidisciplinary ICU teams. 

 

Location: Northside Hospital System 
Position Type: PRN / Independent Contractor 


Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine AND fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine.

  • Current Georgia medical license (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Must have experience post fellowship.
  • Current DEA registration.

  • Proficiency in all standard critical care procedures.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.

  • Prior ICU experience preferred; new graduates with strong training backgrounds are welcome to apply.


Schedule & Work Expectations

  • PRN / As Needed—flexible shift availability across the Northside system.

  • Opportunities for day, night, and weekend shifts.
